Women in Engineering: Past, Present and Future
WEP and SWE invite you to attend a panel discussion
on Friday, April 17, 2009 from 4:00 - 6:00pm in the Advanced
Technology Laboratory (Cal Poly, Building 007). Current students and
Cal Poly alumnae will be speaking about their experiences at Cal Poly
and in engineering. There will also be an hors d'oeuvres reception
following the panel discussion where Cal Poly students from each
engineering discipline will be available to answer questions.

Shadow an Engineer
Are you interested in seeing what the classes and
professors are really like? Shadow an Engineer
for the day and attend classes with them and meet some of your future
professors. This event will take place all day on Thursday, April 16,
2009.

Spend at night in the dorms
If you want to get the full college experience you
can continue your shadow an engineer, by spending a night in one of
the dorms with a SWE member. Also, SWE will be taking a group to
Farmer's Market in downtown San Luis Obispo for dinner and lots of
fun. This will also take place on Thursday, April 16, 2009.
